The State of Play of June 2022 included various popular announcements, starting with Resident Evil 4 Remake. This “new” game from Capcom has also revived the desire of players to see other remakes of the saga and, as can be seen on social networks, it seems that the most requested chapter is CODE: Veronica.
To push for a remake of Resident Evil CODE: Veronica is also Alex Aniel, as you can see above, Biz Manager at Limited Run Games and Brave Wave Music and also the author of an unofficial book dedicated to the history of Resident Evil.
Recall that Resident Evil CODE: Veronica was released in 2000 on Dreamcast and then also brought to PS2 and Game Cube as Resident Evil CODE: Veronica X, with new filmed sequences. The game then received an HD version for PS3 in 2011, including dynamic shadows in real-time.
Which classic RE title do you think should get the RE Engine treatment next?

Resident Evil 4 remake now has a release date, which means development is nearing completion.
If you’d like the dev team to remake CODE: Veronica next, the best you can do as a fan is let Capcom know (be nice about it, of course!). 😀

Resident Evil CODE: Veronica is set three months after the events of Resident Evil 2 and sees players as Claire Redfield, captured by Umbrella.
Obviously, there is no information or confirmation on a Resident Evil CODE: Veronica remake. Capcom is clearly focusing on these remakes, but it is possible that it decides to dedicate itself only to the numbered ones. After the Resident Evil 4 remake, it could therefore be the turn of Resident Evil 5. What do you think?
