Battlefield 2042 is renewed: Hundreds of changes with patch 1.0.0, now available

Waiting for the reveal of what will be the contents of Season 1 of Battlefield 2042, the teams of Electronic Arts and DICE announce the publication of an important patch.

In the morning today, Tuesday 7 June 2022, the shooter has in fact welcomed the 1.0.0 update, which paves the way for the start of a new phase for the game. Already available for download and installation on all platforms, the patch introduces hundreds of changes within Battlefield 2042. Below, we report the most significant changes introduced by DICE:

  • On the gameplay front, there has been an improvement in the management of soldiers, complete with more fluid animations and movements;
  • Renewal of the gun net code, accompanied by arsenal balancing operations and increasing the accuracy of the guns;
  • Increased opportunities that can generate XP. For example, DICE cites the killing of an opponent who previously injured a teammate;
  • In Conquest, the number of available vehicles has been increased, to make it easier to move around the map;
  • Sundance’s Wingsuit is now easier to maneuver, but flight duration has been reduced;
