This is probably the strangest innovation for Google Discover that has been discovered in recent years. As the first screenshots show, Discover will soon be suggesting memes. There’s a new card for that called Memes for you. It should contain memes that are probably based on your other content.
There is a source for every picture. Four memes are planned at a glance. It is not yet possible to say whether this feature will make the rounds for all users. I find it pretty strange though. Google could make it clearer that Google Discover should be more personal and simply offer more content.
So far there are only these first screenshots of a user. Let’s see if this new meme card gets more widespread soon.
