Netflix and CD Project RED have planned a series for Cyberpunk titled Edgerunners. It is a 10-episode animated series that tells a story (unrelated to the game) of a street kid in Night City.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is out in September, so it’s still a while away. However, this week there was the first teaser trailer that gives you an impression of the Cyberpunk series. And at the bottom, there is a first inside look.
The series tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in Night City — a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he stays alive by becoming an edge runner — a mercenary outlaw also known as cyberpunk.
