Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 band will be available later this year or early 2023

While the Galaxy Watch line gets most of the accolades for Samsung’s wearables, Samsung is making smart bands just like anyone else. The Galaxy Fit2 was released alongside the Galaxy Tab A7 in September 2020, and there have been no new products since, but that could change soon. This information comes from the Korean section of the Samsung Community Forum.

A user asked about the Samsung Galaxy Fit3 and when it might come out. The answer is the second half of this year or (if the schedule is delayed) the first half of next year.

The price of the bracelet will be around 49,000-50,000 won. That’s the same price as the Fit2 (49,500 won), so the new Fit2 should launch in your region at the same price as the old Fit2, for example, $60 in the US and €50 in Europe.

There’s no word yet on what new features the Galaxy Fit3 might have. Reviewing the Fit2 brings a larger display (from 0.9 inches to 1.1 inches), a slightly larger battery and greatly improved operating efficiency, almost doubling battery life compared to the original Fit (average usage time rose to 14-15 days), because the time has passed for two years, Fit2 has long lagged behind competitors’ wristbands in sensor technology, especially many manufacturers have begun to provide SpO2 sensors, built-in GPS receivers, and so on.

However, this information comes from a community manager, so it may not be 100% reliable, product lineup decisions are made by the company’s top folks, and it’s unlikely that this bracelet will come with the Galaxy Watch5 release.
