With another update, Google is upgrading its Maps app for our smartphones. Again there is a small but important innovation for the integrated route planner. This time it’s a handy improvement for anyone who (must) drive through countries and cities with tolls.
You can now see a new small badge in the route planner, which you can tap to have a quick look at the toll fees for the respective route. Insofar as this data can be available. A great thing that has now been announced and will be rolled out in the coming days.
Fun fact on the side: Google is still announcing the update in the old route planning view, although Google has been very slowly rolling out a completely new view for the Maps app for months.
