Google Messages has been greatly expanded over the past few months. Not only in terms of RCS messaging, but in other functions as well. This includes seamless integration of Google Photos to be able to share your own videos and photos faster. Support for videos is currently being rolled out to users after it was first discovered in February.
Users can then send videos in Google Messages, which the recipient only receives as links. It also gives access to these videos, which are uploaded through your Google Photos account. As the recipient of the message, you get the opportunity to view the video used from the cloud.
Google now has to implement the feature for photos as well, then the theme would be perfect. It should be planned, but just as long in coming.
