STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is available in preorder on Steam, but the release date of the game reported on the Valve platform at the moment is about December 2023.
As we know, yesterday STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl was officially postponed to 2023 and the development team has released a truly dramatic video diary, in which it reveals the current working conditions of its members.
The war in Ukraine has also disrupted the lives of GSC Game World members: some have created makeshift emplacements to carry on the development of the game, and others have joined the army to counter the Russian invasion.
It is clear that in such a situation there are no forecasts that hold up, and so the launch window set for 2023 could also undergo variations. The date reported by Steam seems more like a placeholder waiting for better times.
