Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Update 1.5.3 adds a new free bundle, here is weight and details

Ubisoft will release Assassin’s Creed Valhalla update 1.5.3 for all platforms on June 28, 2022; will be available from 14:00, Italian time. This update adds new content, the Bifrost Bundle, and fixes various issues.

The weight of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla update 1.5.3 is:

The Bifrost Bundle has been added to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: “The Shimmering Shield and the Iridescent Ax have been crafted from the same crystal that was used to build the Bifrost, Asgard’s Rainbow Bridge.” It is available for free in the Animus Store from June 28 to July 26.

Issues fixed for main missions, story events, and side activities :

  • Budd got stuck off the map during A Divine Gift.
  • During A Divine Gift, after loading a save, Brudd would stop moving.
  • The mission signal and objective disappeared if players entered the pause menu when the last dialogue scene with Brudd began.
  • The view was off-center at the beginning of the scene of the dialogue with Ivaldi in the refuge during The Deposit of the Ancients.
  • It was impossible to continue after speaking with Ivaldi in The Deposit of the Ancients.
  • A long transition between the end of the fight with Eysa and the following dialogue scene in The Leader’s Daughter. It was a tough battle, I have to rest.
  • Players could not move after opening one of the unlockable doors in Sinmara Castle (Pride of the Aesir).
  • Fast Travel was blocked if players did not fully complete the Bloodline World Event. Impossible to interact with Banski in the world event Not Today, jotun!
  • Enemy and allied NPCs remained stationary during the End of the Kingdom (Hamtunscire) mission.

Instead, let’s see the problems solved for the Game World:

  • The crew members requested the players’ help to raid even when the raid was completed. “We did one, yes, but the second?”
  • Various errors in AI behavior.
  • Cases where grass and/or vegetation disappeared as players approached.
  • “Online Services Error” message when trying to see a photo taken during the Crossover Stories intro scene.

Let’s now turn to the problems solved for the Valkyrie Arena:

  • Dying before reaching the completion screen left players stuck underground.
  • NPC corpses would appear when loading the autosave of a story just started.
  • The Blue Water Bear did not appear and the story Encounter with the Ice Bears moved from Chapter 1 to Chapter 2.
  • The lynx stopped attacking players during Story I Legendary Shapeshifters.
  • The finisher animations of the first wave of lynxes were not working correctly.

Let’s see instead the problems solved for Graphics, Animation and Audio:

  • In some places, the allies said Eivor instead of Havi.
  • Off-center animation when finishing an opponent with the Danish ax and an atgeir.
  • Muspel opponents were not properly holding weapons after being revived. Notable lack of discipline.
  • Reanimated NPCs did not hold their weapons after leaving their position and returning.
  • Various errors where the Havi was stuck in the fall animation and/or desynchronized.
  • Viking Braids hairstyle flowers were not present during dialogue scenes if players wore a helmet.
  • Eivor assumed a “T-pose” when descending from the eastern lookout in the Cent.
  • Various clipping errors.
  • Various graphics, texture, animation and lighting errors.

Let’s see the UI issues that have been fixed:

  • In the inventory, the Block attribute for the Guard of the Father shield was missing.
  • The altar message to England after completing the Dawn of Ragnarok expansion was incorrect.
  • Silver and XP boosts did not appear above the adrenaline bar when starting a feast.
  • Various errors in the user interface.

Here are the Armory issues solved:

  • The armory equipment feature was not available after reaching Svartalfheim.
  • Endowments were not available in the mythological realms.

Let’s look at the problems of the Challenge of masters instead:

  • Level Balance automatically switched to “Hard” after taking part in a Mastery Challenge.
  • Long loading times when reloading or exiting a challenge.
  • The Leaf Arch and the Crow’s Scythe reappeared in Hildiran’s shop after completing the Ragnarok Dawn introductory quest.
  • Players did not have enough currency to purchase all sets from Hildiran’s goods.
  • Uffentune Challenge: The elements of the Mastery Challenge were also present outside the trial.
  • Crow’s Challenge, Lair of Anderitum: Unable to obtain the key from the Destroyer if players had already obtained it once and restarted the trial without unlocking the cell door.

Finally, let’s see the problems of the Viking Age Discovery Tour solved:

  • Infinite black screen after changing graphics mode settings (Xbox Series X | S).
  • The stability calculator for the frame rate did not work when playing in 4K / 60 FPS and the graphics mode was set to Quality. (Stadia)
  • Frame rate stability issues when the chosen resolution was 1080p. (Stadia)
  • When the text size was set to “Large”, the message “Mission Tracked” overlapped the mission names in the Pause menu.
