Google Contacts renews the screen with the details of the names

Last year the Google Contacts app was the first of the company to receive a major update with the Material You design which involved modifying some shapes of the in-app elements and adapting the app to the Dynamic Colors system in Android 12. The latest update of the app renews the design of the page with the details of the names added in the address book.

Google Contacts introduces the Material You design for the contact details screen

In the previous version, a simple list of information that the user has filled in for that contact is displayed under the action bar, while now Google Contacts divides them into different categories by assigning You Material-style tiles to each of them. The floating action button at the bottom right has been removed in favor of a pencil icon in the top bar. Here are the two versions compared.

This redesign is certainly more readable, however, it takes up more screen space, forcing the user to scroll much more than before. Let us know in the comments what you think of this new contact interface based on the Material You designed.
