Google Pixel 6a: the fingerprint sensor promoted in a first test

There is great anticipation for the debut of the new Google Pixel 6a. The new proposal from Google for the mid-range, in fact, has all the credentials to become an important reference point on the market thanks to excellent performance, a compact design and also a series of innovations compared to the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro.

In particular, the new Google Pixel 6a aims to offer users a fingerprint sensor capable of guaranteeing a significantly better user experience for users. Some units of the new Pixel 6a have already been distributed (more or less officially) and videos are circulating on the net that confirms some details on the performance of the smartphone.

Google Pixel 6a: the fingerprint sensor confirms a good reactivity

The video attached below, made by YouTuber Fazli Halim, shows us a first test dedicated to the new Google Pixel 6a. One of the most interesting elements of the test, visible starting from minute 4:55 of the video, is represented by the performance of the fingerprint sensor, integrated under the smartphone display.

The test performed confirms a good reactivity for the sensor which seems to have superior performance compared to the sensor integrated on the Pixel 6 Pro (and also on the Pixel 6). This is the first preliminary test that will have to be deepened once the software that manages this sensor is final. The margins for further improvement are therefore all there.

Users will be able to unlock the smartphone more easily, even by placing their finger lightly on the portion of the screen where the sensor is located. Here, then, is the new video that delves into this and other details of the smartphone that Google will launch for sale in the coming weeks.

There is also a comparison with the iPhone 13 Pro camera

It should also be noted that, pending its debut on the market, the new Google Pixel 6a is also the protagonist of a direct video comparison with the iPhone 13 Pro. The video, made by YouTuber Izami Gadget, brings Google’s mid-range future to challenge a significantly higher-end smartphone. The test is still interesting even if the Pixel 6a shows some overheating problems with particularly intense use, particularly with regard to video recording.

Everything is ready for the debut of the new Google Pixel 6a
