Pixel 6 Pro users are still waiting for the ability to securely unlock their phone with Face Unlock. There have always been hints that this should come with a feature drop on the device, but so far nothing has happened.
So what’s next for Face Unlock on the Pixel 6 Pro? Originally, the feature was supposed to be available on the smartphone from the start, as leaked press information showed. However, there was no trace of this in the finished product.
The topic is not yet off the table, as is now being reported. And we’ll probably have to wait a little longer for that. There are now indications of when a possible rollout could be planned.
But we may not see Face Unlock on the Pixel 6 Pro. Because currently, one seems to be working on an implementation for the Pixel 7 series. And there will still be problems. Google itself is silent on the subject of Face Unlock.
