God of War: Ragnarok: Release in November

If nothing else goes wrong, the long-awaited sequel to God of War, God of War: Ragnarök, will be released on November 9th. Sony announced this today. The game will be released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

When the date was announced, a new trailer was also released. The game was originally scheduled to release in 2021 but was later pushed back to 2022.

God of War: Ragnarok” is an action-adventure video game developed by Santa Monica Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game is the ninth installment in the “God of War” series and the sequel to 2018’s “God of War”.

Like the previous game, it is based on Norse mythology and has ancient Norway as the background. The theme of the story will revolve around Ragnarok, which brought the end of Norse mythology.

The official announced a new CG trailer today, featuring the giant wolf Fenrir in Norse mythology. Fenrir is the first child of Loki and the giantess Angelboda, the eldest brother of the serpent Yermengard and the death god Hela. In the last “God of War”, it has been revealed that the son of Kratos, the god of war, is Loki, and I don’t know how the plot will develop.

God of War: Ragnarok was officially revealed at the Sony Playstation Showcase event last September. “God of War: Ragnarok” continues the plot of the previous work, but the relationship between father and son seems to have some new problems. And Freya, a former comrade-in-arms, also fought against Kratos and his son in order to avenge his son.

It is reported that in “God of War: Ragnarok”, players can adventure in all 9 kingdoms, instead of the 6 in the previous work. The official also previously announced the character setting map, including the two main opponents players will face in the game: Freya and Thor.
