Microsoft Edge browser will have built-in picture editing features

Microsoft has added a variety of user-friendly features to the Edge browser. Although most of them are more practical, they have also been criticized by some users for being bloated.

According to information discovered by Reddit user Leopeva64-2, the Canary version of Microsoft’s Edge browser has added a picture editing function, allowing users to edit pictures before saving them. Right-click on the image to invoke the built-in editor.

As you can see from the screenshot below, this function basically brings the editing function in the Windows 11 photo application up and supports cropping, adjustment, filters, and graffiti.

The picture editing function is launched for some users of the Canary version of the Edge browser, and you can wait for the function to be pushed to the official version later. Microsoft also provides tools such as a world clock, calculator, dictionary, translator, unit converter, and network speed test in Edge Canary 105, which can be found by opening the sidebar.
