The tape measure app (App Store link) on iPhone and iPad is very useful if you don’t have a real tape measure at hand. The digital measurement results are good, but if you want millimeter-precise values, you should measure by hand. And with the measuring tape app, you can easily determine a person’s height.
This function is only available for devices that also have a built-in LiDAR sensor: i.e. the iPad Pro and the iPhone 12/13 Pro. Now open the tape measure app and point the camera at the person whose height you want to measure. The iPhone/iPad automatically measures the person and displays the measured size. Here you can snap a photo and use it further.
