Tesla delivered 3 million electric vehicles in 10 years

According to the latest reports, since the first car was delivered in the third quarter of 2012, Tesla has delivered nearly 3 million electric vehicles in the full 10 years ending in the second quarter of 2022. According to Calculations, as of the second quarter of 2022, the company has delivered a total of 2,899,877 electric vehicles. Based on recent trends and Tesla’s overall guidance, Bloomberg expects the company’s vehicle deliveries to hit a cumulative 3 million by the end of July or sometime in August.

Tesla’s second-quarter 2022 production and deliveries report, released earlier this month, showed that the company produced 258,580 vehicles and delivered 254,695 vehicles in the second quarter, down from the first quarter of 2022. In the first half of this year, Tesla delivered 564,000 vehicles, up from 386,200 in the first half of 2021. It is reported that June this year was the highest month for car production in Tesla’s history.

Tesla is on track to deliver more than 1 million electric vehicles in 2022, twice as many as last year, as production picks up at its global Gigafactory and supply shortages ease. It is reported that Tesla will report its second-quarter 2022 financial results after the market closes on July 20, Eastern Time. In addition to announcing its second-quarter 2022 earnings, the company will also hold a second-quarter earnings conference call at around 5:30 p.m. that day.
