IO Interactive today released the new update for Hitman 3, a substantial patch that brings with it the new Ambrose map as well as several other interesting news regarding the gameplay and content of the game.
Ambrose, which we saw presented in a trailer a few days ago, is the new free map that is added to the endowment of Hitman 3. It is a tropical setting characterized by sandy coasts and lush vegetation, particularly brought to stealth action given some particularly hidden and shady areas.
With this will also come new items to unlock such as the Machete Kukri, the Guerrilla Wetsuit dress and The Molotov Cocktail, just to mention a few, but several others will be made available with this update.
Above, you can see the cinematic-style introduction for Ambrose Island, but that’s only part of the news. The patch also brings some technical changes to the game, such as support for DLSS in version 2.4.3 on PC and support for Activity Cards on PS5.
