EA made a Battlefield 2042 version 1.2 update announcement today and stated that the company will reset the Kaleidoscope map and update the appearance of many experts. Good news for the Battlefield 2042 users, this update will arrive on August 02. The company also stated that the Battlefield 2042 version 2.0 will be brought to you later in August.

This update includes not only new bug fixes, balance tweaks, and game quality improvements, but also our first rework of the original style and tone of published maps and some of the experts. Kaleidoscope has been reworked, with new cover facilities, flag locations, terrain changes and visual upgrades for a few locations on the map to improve overall gameplay. We’ve also made the first style and tone changes to several experts, including several character model updates.
Players can now open player profiles and stats pages within the game. This gives the player an idea of the overall performance after deployment and the progress achieved. The controller’s aim assist has been tweaked to make tracking moving targets smoother and more consistent.
