Gotham Knights will include forty-four different costumes, divided into eleven styles, and IGN has released a video showing more than half of them, specifically twenty-eight costumes for Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin and Red Hood.
After watching the gameplay video with the first 16 minutes of Gotham Knights, you will certainly be curious to understand how it will be possible to customize the four Knights. Well, from this point of view, the guys at WB Games Montreal have sought inspiration from many places.
“We searched the internet, various sites and portfolios, as well as various social media,” said game director Geoff Ellenor. “So we ran into these artists, contacted them and ended up having collaborators from Germany, France, Korea, Japan and the United States, all working to bring these costumes to life.”
Not only that: the team was also able to count on the support of the legendary Jim Lee, who began to contribute almost by chance. “Most of the costumes had already been designed, but we were discussing additional styles and Jim wanted to get involved – from that point of view it was a really exciting experience,” said associate character art director Jianli Wu.
The Gotham Knights costumes, however, will be editable: each starting style can be changed in the various components, although leaving the statistics of that specific set intact.
