Elden Ring is one of the most popular Steam games and recently, Elden Ring was included in the top-selling Steam games list. Now, Bandai Namco and FromSoftware rolled out a new patch update for the Elden Ring 1.06. The latest patch update is available on all platforms such as PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PS4 and PS5. According to the short description, this is an update aimed at making the gameplay more stable and improving the game balance.
- Added the function to send summoning signs to summoning pools in various areas, including some very distant ones (excluding Mohgwyn Palace).
- Added a function to invade a larger area, including very distant ones.
- Added an alternate way to advance the White Mask Varre questline, which does not require you to participate in multiplayer invasions but to defeat a new non-player character.
The official release note also reports many changes to better balance the game, such as some applied to the weapons Greatsword, Curved Greatsword and Great Hammer, as well as the resolution of many residual bugs. Now, therefore, the Elden Ring is even cleaner than in patch 1.05.
As mentioned by Bandai Namco, after installing the patch, in the lower right corner of the title screen you can read: “App Ver. 1.06 / Regulation Ver. 1.06”. To continue playing online it will be necessary to apply the update. The release note concludes by stating that FromSoftware will continue to work on the game.
