OxygenOS 12 Open Beta 2 kick-off for the OnePlus 7/7T series

OnePlus regularly releases useful and bug-fix updates to its smartphones. Recently, OxygenOS 12.1 beta update already running on some OnePlus devices and this beta update is going very well on some users’ devices but some users facing issues that are not been solved yet.

Earlier, we reported that the OxygenOS 12.1 Beta update based on Android 12 available for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T with some minor changes. Now, at this time, OnePlus rolled out the latest Android 12-based software update for the OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T and the OnePlus 7T Pro.

As per the official report, the OnePlus 7 series grabbed the official OxygenOS 12 Open Beta 2 update. Let’s take a look at the all details of this update.

Note: If you are in OxygenOS 11, in order to install the upgrade package successfully, be sure that your device is in the 11.0.9.1 version. If you are in the OBT1 version, you can experience OBT2 by installing the corresponding package or you can wait for the OTA update.

According to the official instructions, this upgrade method will not erase data but please be sure to backup first. Please make sure the battery level is above 30% and a minimum of 4GB storage space is available.
