Samsung wants some Galaxy S23 series will use Exynos chips

Users are eagerly waiting for Samsung’s next-generation flagship, the Galaxy S23 series of smartphones. The well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo updated that Qualcomm seems to have only one processor for the Galaxy S23 series because the Exynos 2300 processor is incomparable with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Chip.

Another update came on 28 July, Qualcomm said that to strengthen strategic cooperation with Samsung. Ming-Chi mentions that on the same day that in the transcript of Qualcomm’s third-quarter 2022 earnings conference call, Qualcomm said, “What I can say right now is that we had a 75% usage rate on the Galaxy S22 before the agreement. You should consider that We’ll be better off with the Galaxy S23 and newer.”

As the well-known tipster Ice Universe posted on social media the Samsung MX department hopes that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series of smartphones come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, but Samsung Electronics wants to continue to use some Exynos chips. Due to this Samsung’s, mobile phone department showed dissatisfaction.

Samsung rolled out its flagship Galaxy S22 / S22+ / S22 Ultra on 9 February this year and these devices were equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 processors. Previous updates showed that this Samsung Exynos 2300 chip, internally code-named “Quadra”, is expected to use the 3nm GAA process technology. It also has the latest ARM CPU cores and an updated Xclipse GPU based on AMD’s new Radeon GPU. As per specification this processor also performs well.
