Pixel 7a receive upgrades like a camera, wireless charging and more

On 6 October 2022, Google launched its Pixel 7 series phones with a Tensor G2 chipset, 5000mAh battery, and more. Now, Google planned to introduce a new phone Pixel 7a. It’s a mid-range phone with an improved A-series Pixel phone than previous. It comes with a better camera feature, wireless charging, and more. If talk about the Pixel 6a it won’t feature the same as the previous version. It came with a different main camera sensor.

As per the report, this phone may come in mid-year 2023. There are some more devices in line to publish in 2023 like the Tangor Pixel tablet and Pixel foldable Felix. Google has stuck to plastic, glass, and metal for its phones. This switch to ceramic would be especially bold for the Pixel A-series, which has thus far been primarily plastic, as ceramic is often considered to be a premium material.

From the manufacturing design, the Pixel 7a’s wireless charging chip is only capable of 5W charging and is best suited for something like the charging case for earbuds. The pièce de résistance of the Pixel 7a, though, is the upgrade to the camera sensors. This paired with two additional rear sensors, a Sony IMX787 (1/1.3-inch, 64MP sensor) for telephoto and a Sony IMX712 (unknown size, 13MP sensor) for ultrawide.

In addition, the camera feature like an ultrawide camera made their premiere in the Pixel A-series with the Pixel 4a 5G, telephoto has thus far remained exclusive to flagship Pixels. In fact, for the last two years, telephoto has only been available on the “Pro” variants of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7. The company is planning to majorly upgrade its affordable line of phones.

Finally, With the feature of wireless charging, the potential for a more premium build, and “Pro”-level Pixel cameras, the upcoming change user experience of the Pixel A series phone.
