Google Messages redesigns its photo picker

A few months before Google Messages get updates like SMS texts using emoji reactions when connecting with iPhone users or in a group conversation on other Android devices. Now, Google Messages come with a new feature photo picker.

Currently, the photo is displayed from the left of the text field which is used to open your device’s Gallery beside it. If you want to view more images you need to swipe left. To open a camera there is a shortcut at the left.

From the September update, as per the new UI, there is a viewfinder that sizes smaller than before. But this gives fast access to the Folders as a shortcut but it gets smaller now. The user’s recently visited shot has to able to see a bigger preview. Other things will be placed in the row. Now, when the user scrolls down they see a bigger view and can see 15 pictures at a time. FABs for the camera and folders are shown at the bottom-right corner.

Right now, the most recent update comes for Google Messages is the Photo picker. This update is not available for all right now maybe take more time for this.

This redesign enhances the UI now users more easily interact than before. It increases the performance of the app.

Lastly, users are now able to see the gallery by just swiping up and viewing the images on the big screen if they want to.
