New Pixel Phone bug can unlock a phone with SIM card

Google has recently launched its Pixel 7 series and it contains a bug recently a bug has been fixed via the new November 2022 security patch some users have faced the unlock issue. It contains a bug that unlocks and Bypasses your pixel phone’s lock screen.

9To5Google reported an issue and demonstrated in a video that allowed screen devices with biometrics disabled in several incorrect. Swipe out the SIM and then you will have to enter the sim pin after three wrong pin attempts users are charged for the PUK code which you will be aware of since it’s your sim card. Now finally Google has fixed this issue with the latest November 2020 security patch.

David Schütz discovered the issue (CVE-2022-20465) and says an “attacker with physical access [can] bypass the lock screen protections (fingerprint, PIN, etc.) and gain complete access to the user’s device.”
