Google removes Vo5G on some Pixel 7 devices

Recently we made an article in which we told that the Google Pixel Phone bug can unlock a phone with a SIM card. David Schütz discovered the issue (CVE-2022-20465) and says an “attacker with physical access [can] bypass the lock screen protections (fingerprint, PIN, etc.) and gain complete access to the user’s device.”

And now another bad news has come to the fore. Google recently rolled out Android 13 QPR1 Beta 3.1 for its Pixel devices and after this update, some users shared that Vo5G has stopped working after this update.

Some Pixel 7 users have reported that this option has disappeared from their phones and there is probably no way to activate it again. Google will release a patch soon, if this bug is not fixed in the next update, then this bug will be fixed in the final version only.
