Google Pixel 8 update

Over the past few years, Google has been putting more and more money into the Pixel line. Now, according to an alleged roadmap, a few details about the Pixel 8 and beyond may give us a taste of what’s to come.

The Google Pixel foldable, which was recently leaked and is said to cost $1,799, is also mentioned in the report. According to reports, there may be a follow-up to this device in 2024, depending on how well it does.

On the foldable side, the mention that Google is looking into a Galaxy Z Flip competitor is more interesting. This would be the first time we hear about the device. This could be because it is planned for 2025 and is dependent on what happens with other Pixel phones before that launch.

There could be four phones that don’t fold, like Apple’s iPhone lineup, which has two Pros and two non-Pros, each with a different size. It shouldn’t come as a big surprise if Google decides to make a foldable with a clamshell design. In the case of Samsung, the Galaxy Z Flip sells more units than the Galaxy Z Fold. Oppo as of late reported it would likewise be making a Flip gadget, without a doubt under similar thinking.

Notably, the report makes no mention of Google’s plans for Pixel tablets in the future. However, the Pixel Tablet and possibly a “Pro” model will be released in 2023. Furthermore, no mention is made of future Pixel Watch models.
