Android 13 QPR 2: Pixel 7 and Pixel 6a gets support for 5G

Google Pixel smartphones are now finally getting support for the 5G network in the Indian market with the latest Android 13 QPR 2 beta 2 update. Earlier, the Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones used 4G on cellular networks and users are eagerly waiting for the 5G update for a long time.

The Android 13 QPR 2 beta 2 was recently released by the Pixel maker and it is now confirmed that both Airtel and Jio will provide 5G support. The 5G support would be coming on these above phones in quarter 1 of 2023 and we can assume the expected availability sometime in March.

In India, 5G support has been expanding over the past several months and reportedly Jio’s network now covers almost 78 cities in the country. Apart from the Jio network, other companies like Motorola also started bringing 5G support on 10 devices earlier last week. Also, Samsung and OnePlus have given this opportunity to their respective consumers.
