Tesla chief car designer says Cybertruck finalized and is nearing production

Cybertruck is finally going into production soon. In a recent podcast, Tesla’s chief car designer Franz von Holzhausen said that the Cybertruck has been finalized and will be put into production soon. Elon Musk announced this 3 years back and now his dream is going to come true.

The Cybertruck was supposed to go into production after it was announced in 2019 but has been delayed several times due to the pandemic and supply chain issues. But now after 3 years, its production is definitely going to start. Series production will happen by the end of this year.

The good news is that the Cybertruck will go into production less than six months from now without any hiccups. Tesla will produce the Cybertruck using IDRA’s 9,000-ton Giga press, which could arrive at the Texas plant as early as this month.

Earlier, Tesla CEO Elon Musk confirmed that it’s fully automatic driving FSD Beta feature update will be rollout in January this year. The update is a part of assisted driving system, the frequent steering wheel prompts appear, which is very annoying.
