OnePlus recently released several updates based on ColorOS 13 in China and recently, the Global variant of the OnePlus 11 got the January 2023 security patch update based on OxygenOS 13.
As we know that Android devices run on a modified Linux kernel. Since the Linux kernel is distributed under the GNU GPL v2 license, all entities distributing kernel branches are obliged to provide the source of their kernels upon request.
Some manufacturers will release the source code a month or two after the release of the mobile phone, while others are more active, such as OnePlus. OnePlus 11’s kernel source code was released on GitHub, with firmware version CPH2447_11_A.06/OxygenOS 13.0.
