Sony recently released the February 2023 update to its PS5. The update is instantly available all you need to check the console and you’ll find it’s ready to download and install (you’ll also need to sign in after agreeing to the updated terms of service).
According to the latest report, Sony PlayStation 5 grabbed a new software update today with version 7.01.01. The latest update resolved an issue in Game Library where the content was displayed incorrectly under certain conditions.
Manually update PS5 console system software
- Go to Settings > System. Select System Software > System Software Update and Settings.
- Update Available appears if a newer version is available. Select Update System Software to update.
