On the web Google is evaluating the new Google Drive homepage, this feature will auto-suggest files and folders. Previously, the user opened the My Drive document in an older way. Currently, a testing feature of the homepage shows My Drive in the sidebar.
In this, there is an option as Suggested which provides appropriate files. Another one is the Reason suggested which describes the reason for the suggestion in that document. It references your previous work document or closed recently, opened and uploaded or edited.
The company will also save the location of the file. With this feature, users can also switch between the suggested Files and Folders with other options. In this, there is one more feed Activity where you see recent files/folders with Access requests or Recent comments.
At last, right now the company testing this new homepage in Google Drive and in the coming weeks we will know more about this.
