Samsung has commenced the rollout of a new update for the Galaxy Tab S7 series, implementing the latest Android security patch released in June 2023. This update aims to enhance the system’s security measures and overall performance.
To identify the June 2023 security update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Tab S7 Plus, and Galaxy Tab S7 FE, users can look for the One UI build versions T878USQU4DWE7, T978USQU4DWE7, and T738USQU6CWE1, respectively.
Initially, the update is being made available to locked Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy S7 Plus, and Galaxy Tab S7 FE devices on the Verizon network in the United States. However, users on other network carriers can expect to receive this update in the upcoming days or weeks.
The latest Android security patch addresses more than 50 vulnerabilities that posed potential risks to users’ privacy and security, including three critical flaws and 47 high-level common vulnerability exposures. Users can access and install the update by navigating to Settings, selecting Software Update, and then proceeding with the Download and Install option.
