Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 users reporting straps opening issues

The South Korean tech giant recently uncovered its most preferable smartwatches called the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic last month at its Unpacked event. Samsung launched these smartwatches using different strap mechanism as compared to the older models. It looks like this isn’t working out well as Galaxy Watch 6 users have been complaining about the strap coming off easily.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 strap issue

The all-new straps for the Galaxy Watch 6 comes with a button instead of a pin to remove the strap. All you need to press the button to hook the strap on the watch.

Some Galaxy Watch 6 users are reporting that the button gets accidentally pressed, and the strap comes off loose. Users are visiting Reddit to post this issue and here in this article, we also linked the references (1, 2).

The same was demonstrated in a YouTube video spotted by Android Police, where it can be seen that the strap does unbutton quite easily. One way to avoid this to use the older straps that come with the pin mechanism.
