The tipster Onleaks shared a rendering of the OnePlus Buds 3 headphones as early as September this year. Its appearance is similar to the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, and the overall look is more rounded.
In addition, each OnePlus Buds 3 earphone is equipped with three microphones for call noise reduction. The protection level of the earphones is IP55, while the protection level of the headphone box is IPX4. Each earphone weighs 4.7 grams, which is lighter than the OnePlus Buds Pro 2.
For reference, OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is equipped with an 11mm dynamic woofer + 6mm flat-film tweeter. A single earphone weighs 4.9 grams. It supports Bluetooth 5.3 and LHDC/AAC/SBC Bluetooth codecs, and the noise reduction depth is 48dB.
The earphones can play music for 9 hours at a time, and the earphones + charging box have a battery life of 39 hours (50% volume, AAC, smart noise reduction off).
