OPPO has officially announced the OPPO Reno 11 series smartphones in the global markets. The Reno 11 series includes the OPPO Reno 11 and OPPO Reno 11 Pro smartphones. But now, Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster, has shared the early leaks regarding the upcoming OPPO Reno 12 series on Weibo, the Chinese social media platform.
OPPO Reno 12 Leaked Upgrades
The upcoming OPPO Reno 12 series smartphones will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series sub-flagship platform chipset. The post indicates that OPPO will equip the devices with the 2023 flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
The tipster also confirms that OPPO will equip the next generation of Reno smartphones with improved periscope telephoto sensors. This could mean a new sensor with a higher optical zoom. OPPO currently uses a 32MP Sony IMX 709 telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom on the Reno 11 series of smartphones.
