Apple Vision Pro headset is finally available for pre-sale in the United States and now the company has announced its maintenance cost information. For now, the official website displays two items: “Glass cover damage” and “Other damage .” Apple says it can replace cracked glass covers for a fee, and accidental damage is not covered by the warranty.
In terms of price, replacing a new glass cover costs US$799. If the user purchases AppleCare+, it costs US$299. As for “other damage”, Apple has not officially announced what it includes, but the pricing is in line with Apple’s usual style: “only” $2,399. If the user purchases AppleCare+, the price is also $299.
In addition, Apple also provides paid battery replacement services. If the user has AppleCare+ and the product’s battery power is less than 80% of the original capacity, the user is eligible for free battery replacement.
