According to the latest report from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan, the country is bringing back 482,000 vehicles because the fuel pump produced by Japan Denso Company may cause the engine to stall or the hybrid motor to lose power.
This recall involves more than 30 models and some motorcycles produced by Subaru, Mazda, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Honda and Yamaha. Earlier, Honda Motor had previously recalled about 2.6 million vehicles in the United States on the grounds that fuel pumps produced by Denso Company may cause engine stalling.
Honda said the vehicles being recalled in the U.S. are models built from 2017 to 2020, including the Accord, Civic and Fit, as well as the MDX from its luxury brand Acura , and said it had not received any reports of crashes or injuries related to the pump.
