Microsoft admits that the latest Win11 KB5037853 update

Microsoft released a new round of non-security quality updates for supported versions of Windows. Among them, KB5037853 (version numbers 22621.3672 and 22631.3672) for Win11 seemed to have more bugs than usual.

According to Microsoft’s updated “Known Issues” list, after installing the KB5037853 update, you may encounter a bug in which the taskbar flickers, becomes unresponsive, disappears, and automatically reappears.

In addition, Microsoft also stated that there may be problems during the installation process after this update, but it mainly occurs in Windows virtual machines (Parallels Desktop) running on Arm-based Mac devices.
