OPPO Find X2 will support up to 7GB memory expansion

According to the latest report, OPPO is about to bring a maximum of 7GB memory expansion to a flagship device. According to reports, OPPO Find X2 has currently pushed the June 2021 patch and CPH2023_11.C.68 firmware update to India, bringing memory expansion capabilities.

Users can choose whether to enable memory expansion in Settings> About Phone> RAM, and can also choose three different options: 3GB, 5GB, and 7GB. Memory expansion, as a not-so-new technology, is currently widely adopted by major mobile phone manufacturers. It sacrifices some storage to bring a better experience to low-memory phones.

Most of OPPO’s newly released mobile phones are equipped with this feature. OPPO Find X2 was released in 2020 and is equipped with a Snapdragon 865 processor and a fixed 8GB of memory. With memory expansion, the device can get a maximum of 15GB of memory.

It’s not clear when it will be pushed in China, but since it has already been pushed in some areas, it means that the country is not far away. OPPO Find X2 Pro has not received the update yet.
