Android phones already support playing Microsoft Edge hidden surfing games

onMSFT reported that last year, Microsoft launched a new web-based Surf offline game for Edge browser. As of now, this little game is only available in the desktop version of the Edge browser, but Microsoft now also plans to bring it to mobile users.

The Microsoft Edge Insider team recently announced on Twitter that the surfing game has been launched on the latest Edge Canary Android version. Now, Edge Insiders running Canary 95.0.1002.0 can access the game by entering edge://surf. In addition, it can also be played when the mobile device is not connected to the Internet.

The Microsoft Edge surfing game is largely inspired by the classic SkiFree that appeared on the old version of Windows in 1991. The user is challenged to avoid various obstacles and islands while ensuring a long-term ride in the wind and waves. Users can choose from three different modes, including the standard classic surf mode, time trial and Zig-Zag mode.

Currently, the surfing mini-game is only available for desktop and Android users. There is no news about when it will appear in the iOS version of the Edge browser.
