Cyberpunk 2077 has total sales of over 18 million copies, as announced by CD Projekt RED as part of the financial results updated to April 14.
We know that the Polish team is working to improve Cyberpunk 2077 even more, and the document published today confirms this, explicitly mentioning the game’s expansions and further support work.
Not only that: CD Projekt RED counts on the animated series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners coming to Netflix to further expand the universe of the action RPG and consolidate its popularity outside of video games.
Last December the sales of Cyberpunk 2077 were at 17.3 million copies, although with a much higher goal, which means that from January to April the game has not ground very large numbers.
An outcome probably also due to the launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, available in the form of a free update for owners of the game on PS4 and Xbox One.
