Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 details outlook

It was reported on May 10 that in about three months, Samsung’s “King of Machines” Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 in the second half of the year will be unveiled. In fact, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 released last year has not changed much in appearance compared to the second generation. On the contrary, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 provides a larger display area and more colorful colors on the external screen.

Recently, the blogger @ibing universe exposed the appearance of the Galaxy Z Fold4. The exposure shows that the Galaxy Z Fold4 adopts the same internal and external dual-screen design as the previous generation, with an external screen ratio of 23:9 and an internal screen ratio of 6:5. There will be beige, black and gray color options.

In addition, the Galaxy Z Fold4 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Plus processor and an off-screen camera, which is the industry’s first Snapdragon 8 Plus flagship with off-screen camera technology. Compared with the under-screen camera technology of the Galaxy Z Fold 3, the hidden effect of the front camera of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be better, and the quality of selfies will be further improved.

Just last week, the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 have obtained 3C certification, equipped with 4400mAh and 3400mAh batteries respectively, and both support 25W fast charging.

According to Galaxy Club news, Samsung will launch three foldable devices this year, and in addition to the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4, there will be a new folding-screen phone. It may be Samsung’s first scroll-screen phone or the previously exposed three-fold Galaxy Fold.

Samsung’s folding screen mobile phone is about to be updated to the fourth generation, but the market’s enthusiasm for folding screen mobile phones seems to be not so hot. Last year, Samsung controlled the price of the Galaxy Z Flip3 at 7,000 yuan through a price drop and gained a certain amount of sales.

But looking at the entire domestic market, the desire to change phones or even foldable phones has yet to be stimulated. According to the survey data released by iiMedia Research, 67.5% of the interviewed users did not buy a folding screen mobile phone because they were “worried about its quality”, and 59.5% of the interviewed users did not buy it because of “high price”; for folding screen mobile phones 65.1% of the surveyed users expressed their expectation that the hardware or software of the folding screen phone could be improved.

Perhaps lower prices and more practical features will finally prompt ordinary consumers to choose to place an order.
