Google Cloud breaks pi computing record again

Back in 2019, Google Cloud Services broke the Pi (Pi) computing record for the first time and reached 31.4 trillion bits. However, in an official press release on Wednesday, Google Cloud once again announced that it has broken the trillion-digit pi calculation record. The Google Cloud team said it accomplished this new challenge with the help of Compute Engine services.

New features such as N2 machine family, virtual NIC @100 Gbps egress bandwidth, and balanced Persistent Disks were used.

Finally, the last 100 digits of the trillion-digit pi calculated by Google Cloud are:

4658718895 1242883556 4671544483 9873493812 1206904813 2656719174 5255431487 2142102057 7077336434 3095295560。

The Google Cloud team has now contacted the official Guinness World Records to verify its latest feat.
