Huawei P50 series has a super large 1/1.18 inches bottom sensor

According to the Weibo tipster Sortan panda and Li Ang Ang revealed today that the previously rumored “close to an inch outsole CMOS” is actually a 1 /1.18-inch (16:9) Sony IMX 700 series upgraded sensor (or IMX800) will be used in the upcoming Huawei P50 series.

In addition, some digital bloggers said that Samsung’s previously launched GN2 is expected to become the largest bottom sensor in the first half of this year or even the whole year. The GN2 is a 50MP, 1/1.12 inch ultra-large bottom sensor. The pixel area is 1.4μm, and it supports smart ISO Pro and Dual Pixel Pro (dual pixel enhancement) and four-in-one technology.

In addition, some digital bloggers said that Xiaomi’s upcoming Xiaomi 11 Ultra and Pro will be released for the first time and will monopolize Samsung’s GN2 sensor in the short term, so the phone has a terrifying proportion of rear lens modules.

As can be seen from the previous renderings of the Huawei P50 series, the machine also has a huge, top-of-the-line oval rear camera module, which is no different from the lens size of the Xiaomi 11 super cup model above.
