Microsoft Edge browser 105 stable released

Recently, many new features appeared in the Edge browser 150 beta update that brings cloud site list management, improvements to the IE mode cloud and some other things. Now the stable version of Edge Browser 105 goes live. In this update, Microsoft brings feature changes, underlying improvements, and policy updates. Enhanced Safe Mode improvements:

  • Enhanced Safe Mode now supports WebAssembly for x64 Windows. Expect more cross-platform support in the future.

Improved cloud site list management experience in IE mode:

  • Users can revert to one of the last 3 published versions of the site list in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
  • Users can identify gaps in enterprise site lists by configuring site feedback reports with multiple policies, and can also view local site list URLs and potentially misconfigured neutral site URLs from users in the Microsoft Edge site list experience in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
  • Users can configure session cookie sharing between Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer for IE mode in the sites list in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

Improvements to the cloud site list management experience for IE mode are now available in GCC. GCC users can now use the full Microsoft Edge site listing experience in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

How To Update – You can update the Edge 105 version in the Edge browser’s Settings > About Microsoft Edge.
