Mi 10i 5G will be equipped with Snapdragon 750G, 108MP rear camera

Xiaomi Vice President Manu Kumar Jain today warmed up the new Xiaomi 10i 5G device. He released a video describing this upcoming phone as an “extension” of Mi 10, Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro and even Mi 10T Lite.

Mi 10i is specially designed for the Indian market, where “i” refers to “India”. The device uses a new camera sensor-108 MP camera, which will be released on January 5.

According to the trailer video, you can see the four camera and it is worth noting that two labels are “108MP AI camera” and “5G is born”. Xiaomi is the first manufacturer to use the 108MP sensor, the ISOCELL HMX. However, Jain mentioned that this is a new sensor, he may be talking about Samsung’s HM2 launched in September.

However, Xiaomi 10i 5G will use a relatively new chipset-Snapdragon 750G. Xiaomi 10T Lite is the first mobile phone to use this chip, which explains the complicated family relationship mentioned at the beginning.

However, Xiaomi 10i is not based on 10T Lite. It is reported that it is based on Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, which means that it uses a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen, supports HDR10 and 120 Hz refresh rate, built-in 4,820 mAh battery, and supports 33W wired fast Charge, but this configuration has not been officially confirmed.
