Google Chrome will provide an experimental feature button

Google announced this week that the milestone update of the Chrome browser will be shortened from once every six weeks to once every four weeks. In order to better perform functional testing, Google announced that it will simplify the way to open experimental features.

Google Chrome design leader Alex Ainslie said yesterday that a conical flask icon will be added to the toolbar of the Canary version of the Chrome browser (and soon the Dev and Beta versions), allowing easy access to the experimental features of Chrome.

The picture shared by Ainslie shows that experimental features include reading lists, tag scrolling and tag search. The reading list allows users to quickly save articles for later reading, tab scrolling allows users to scroll through tabs, and tab search allows users to search for their open tabs.

In addition, each experimental feature comes with a “send feedback” button that users can click to share their thoughts on the new feature. The Chrome browser usually hides experimental features. Only when the user enters “chrome://flags” in the address bar can the hidden page be opened and the experimental features can be managed.
