Former Battlefield 5 design director talks about dev and says it’s hard to save the game

DICE may move to the unnamed new “Battlefield” game this year, and the development details of the previous Battlefield 5 have gradually surfaced. On Twitter, former DICE employee and design director of Battlefield 5 Alan Kertz posted some interesting content about the development of Battlefield 5. In one of the tweets, Kertz mentioned that the game is difficult to “remedy” because it “differs from within”:

“It’s hard to save a game that has internal differences, especially after taking parental leave and missing the main production stage.” “I chose a direction. Not everyone likes it, and not all of them. The directions have been realized. There is no way.”

Kertz also mentioned on Twitter that he had promoted the use of the Firestorm (Battlefield 5’s battle royale mode) armor system in the basic version of the game, but it was not realized in the end. We hope this year’s new work of “Battlefield” is the result of a more united DICE studio.
