Alert: Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 2 firmware development is now underway

According to the information, the Galaxy Z Flip 2 foldable smartphone from Samsung will launch this year. The company hasn’t confirmed as yet when it’s going to arrive. Its predecessor was launched alongside the Galaxy S20 last year but Samsung decided against launching it early this year.

As reported by the Sammobile, the Korean giant Samsung is working on the firmware for the Galaxy Z Flip 2. There’s no official announcement yet regarding the launch of the new foldable. However, a new report has claimed that Samsung will unveil these devices in July this year. That’s going to be a bit earlier than what people would have expected.

Perhaps Samsung is moving up the launch in order to compensate for the lack of a new Galaxy Note flagship this year. Samsung has already confirmed that there won’t be a Galaxy Note 21. It’s now expected to bring support for the S Pen to the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

If the model number is SM-F711, the Galaxy Z Flip 2 will come with 128 and 256GB storage options. It will also ship with Android 11 and One UI 3.5 out of the box.
